XIII Century will let you delve into the middle-ages and their battle filled era.
This real-time strategy game, which actually is more of a historical simulation driven by an epic storyline, will let you control European kings and dukes, Russian princes and boyars, as well as Mongolian khans and noyons.
You will be clashing with huge armies in large-scale battles with thousands of soldiers thrashing each other on detailed, realistic battlefields. A bit like the 'blood and guts' camp that you will be attending this summer. Beware though, as the effects of terrain and weather will at times be your enemies or you ally, so don't do like Napoleon in Russia, or suffer the consequences.
