Possibly the best first person shooter of all time

Jack Carver, ex-marine, has chartered his boat to take a photographer to some south pacific islands. After having delivered the photographer to the Miconesia chain, Jack's boat is blown out of the water by a missile. It's a bit of a surprise but not as much as the truckloads of mercenaries that are protecting the island chain nor the genetic research labs and the test subjects that are breaking free.
